The Design TieCon 2019, a two-day conference for architects, designers and creative minds, was organized on 28th & 29th September 2019 by TieConKerala at GHSS, Karaparamba, in association with Avani Institute of Design and IIID. A first-of-its-kind event, the Design TieCon 2019 proved to be an enriching experience for one and all who attended it. Conferences with experts, hands-on workshops, exhibitions, and panel discussions- on subjects ranging from design, architecture and fashion, to creativity in everyday life, took it to another level altogether. ‘Make in India’, ‘Design Project Presentations’, Mentoring workshops, ‘Fashion Evolution-Rouka’, and even panel discussion on ‘Design policy in rebuilding Kerala’- and so much more- with eminent personalities like Mr.Sunil, Ms.Shaktishree Gopalan, Ar. Vinu Daniel, Ar. George Seemon and more- made it a must-attend event.
Design evolves-for the better-when you grow. Our interior design students attended the 2-day event and our B.Sc ID final year student Mr Ahammed Althaf puts the experience in these words, ‘Design, for us, gained a whole new perspective!! Blown away and we feel we have gained so much more!!’
