For a beginner, an interior designer can earn around 10000 to 20000 rupees. For an experienced professional, the pay scale can range between 50000- lakhs. Interior designers usually prefer setting up their own company once they are confident of working individually.

The interior designer who wishes to set up his own consultancy will require only minimum investment and will have ample chances to work with people of all strata, especially celebrities. National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA)  is to provide single scheme aptitude examination to assist the candidates those who are seeking admission to architecture course all over India. More than 500 students are coming to Calicut centre every year for sharpening their skill set for NATA examination. Vismayam provide numerous imperative training sessions to make them fit for appearing these aptitude tests. It extends the right direction and support to the students for preparing subjects like mathematics, general aptitude and drawing.

Mathematics for NATA

The examination is structured as OMR based 30 questions for 60 marks. following topics are included in the syllabus from mathematics.

General aptitude is also an OMR based test. 30 questions are structured for 60 marks. Objectives of this part are

  • To identify the application and features of material’s surfaces associated to architecture and construction field. To analyse the compositions used in a picture.
  • To visualize the 3D (three-dimensional) form from its 2D (two-dimensional) drawing.
  • To understand the plan, elevation and end views of 3D objects.
  • To Mental ability (numerical, visual and verbal) Analytical reasoning and
  • To identify the national/ international personalities related to the field of architecture and their contributions.

Last 90 minutes of the exam is planned for 80 marks of 2 set questions. Candidate should have enough knowledge in the following areas to attend this drawing test.

  • Objects with its proportionality and scale
  • Space planning, 2d and 3d composition using given objects.
  • Elements of design, building forms, shape, and elements.
  • Aesthetics, colour psychology, texture, contrast and harmony.
  • Conceptualization and Visualisation.
  • Drawing of patterns – both geometrical and abstract.
  • Relationships between 2d and 3D for dealing out the solids for subtraction, union, surfaces and volumes, rotation, etc.
  • Preparing orthographic views of an object (plan, elevation, end views  and 3D visualisation of objects)
  • Sketching of landscape and urbanscape.
  • Perspective drawing

Tamilnadu CM Jayalalitha was an  evolutionary leader. She was born in Mandya district of Karnataka. Her parents were native of Srirangam of Trichy, Tamilnadu. As her mother, Sandhya was an actress in Tamil cinema she moved into Tamilnadu and continued her education in madras state.

Jayalalitha was good in academic performance. She was obtainable a scholarship for advanced studies from central government. But young Jayalalitha was advised by her mother to move into Film industry.

Before entering into politics her career in film industry was a remarkable success. She acted in several movies of Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hndi,  Engilsh, etc.  Most of them were major hit. She was a talented dancer, performed all over India, qualified in classical dance forms like Mohini Attam, Bharatnatyam, Manipuri and Kathak. She was a gifted singer also, had educated Carnatic music fromthe age of four. She sang several beautiful songs in her own films.

Jayalalitha was very conscious about her living style especially her home interior.  As she was an artist she had a good sense of aesthetics and style. Her beauty concepts and personal style perfectly blended contemporary well-groomed with Indian sensibility.
