Students in Multimedia Arts are prepared for the future as writers and producers for traditional and new media, including television and cinema. Students can learn computer programmes and create interactive presentation materials through the multimedia programme. Bachelor’s degree programmes prepare new generations of professionals for work in the movie and television industries and show business.

Who can pursue the course?

A student who is interested in learning about different forms of media entertainment and technology can opt to study the program. These include television, film studies, journalism, video production, interactive media, and computer animation. Using a variety of technologies and standards, the interdisciplinary programme focuses on both emerging trends and media management methods.

An animation degree or diploma requires a plus two or it’s equivalent from any recognized institution as a minimum requirement. There is no maximum age limit for the course. Graduates from any stream are also eligible to enrol in the postgraduate program.

The B A Multimedia programme will be available to candidates who have passed the Plus two courses with at least 45% marks in aggregate. As referred to by the government, candidates who belong to socially and educationally backward communities will receive a 5% relaxation. A passing grade in the qualifying degree examinations is enough for SC/ST candidates. Candidates who are waiting for the results of their qualifying examinations can also apply. Candidates who do not pass the qualifying examination will nevertheless be admitted if they present the marks sheets on or before the date prescribed for admission.
