• The students at Vismayam College get many favorable circumstances to explore the area of Fashion, Wildlife, Advertising, product photography and much more. Furthermore to practical application, students will be introduced to a variety of contemporary visual artists through photography camp and fieldwork.
• The curriculum is well organized to facilitate the periodical workshops, talks by guest faculties and interactive sessions with industry experts
• The Photography demonstrations both in the studio and outdoors ensure the students get maximum practical guidance.
• Every batch, we arrange a sightseeing tour with the intention to let our students explore their photography skills in a deferent location away from the comfort of the college campus and their city. It will be a great opportunity for students to capture street life, landscapes, architecture, portraits, wildlife, etc.
• Throughout the course, a student experiences various composition methods, subject matter, and lighting techniques and gets the platform to experiment with a variety of camera accessories, photographic equipment, and image processing software.
• The software training helps towards understanding the latest computer programs and also provides exposure to advanced photo editing tools and technologies that betters one in image processing skill and photographing output.
• As part of co-curricular activities, the Multimedia department of Vismayam organizes many digital photography exhibitions in a year. It is a great platform for photography students to showcase their talent in front of the who’s who from the industry.
